Reimagining Space with Light & Elegance

Nestled within the natural beauty of Warrandyte, this multi level interior renovation redefines an existing wing of a two storey home, introducing a third level within the roof space to accommodate a growing family. The design seamlessly integrates form, function, and flow, prioritising low-maintenance solutions while enhancing spatial efficiency and aesthetic appeal.

A meticulous masterplan reshaped the interior layout, modifying walls, ceilings, and roof structures to introduce a mezzanine level that expands living spaces. Carefully positioned skylights filter natural light through double height voids, creating a luminous atmosphere that unifies private study areas, increased storage, a recreation attic, and sleeping quarters into serene sanctuaries of calm and repose.

Bespoke Craftsmanship & Tailored Detailing

This sophisticated bathroom renovation exemplifies a curated balance of materials, textures, and lighting:

• Mosaic tiling with iridescent mother of pearl inlays captures and reflects light, producing a mesmerising interplay of colour and movement against neutral-toned glass walls.

• Custom Victorian Red Gum solid wood cabinetry and a Carrara marble vanity unite functionality with timeless sophistication, adding warmth and a tactile contrast to the space.

• Handcrafted metal framed mirrors introduce depth and dimension, capturing adjacent and opposite reflections to enhance the sense of scale and openness.

• Specialised lighting design orchestrates a dynamic ambience pendant fixtures softly illuminate the space, while mother-of-pearl tiles interact with shifting light to create an immersive visual experience.

Each element has been meticulously considered, ensuring a space that is as visually captivating as it is practical.

Seamless Vertical Connection

The main staircase, a sculptural centrepiece, provides a fluid connection between the home’s three levels, linking the billiard room, artist’s studio, and entertainment space with its own kitchen and bathroom.

Crafted with Victorian Red Gum treads and risers, the staircase is framed by subtly splayed walls and capped with a Tasmanian Oak handrail, introducing a refined natural warmth that contrasts elegantly with the home’s neutral interior palette. The seamless integration of these elements ensures both aesthetic cohesion and functional clarity.
